School Leavers

We wish all our school leavers from last term the very best in their new adventure to school. We had a lovely last term with them all and it has been such a pleasure to watch them all grow and learn.

Named Items

Please ensure that your child’s belongings are named including bags, coats, shoes, drink bottles, snack and lunch boxes. We have already noticed that some items of clothing have come in unnamed and haven’t been taken home. From the Pre-School Team If you would like us to write your child’s name in an item of clothing, we can do that with a sharpie pen. Please let us know during drop off

Early drop off

Can I please remind all parents of the early drop off charge

Early Drop Off Time: 8:45am-9:00am

Normal Drop Off Time: 9:00am onwards.

The early drop off will revert to being an additional charge which parent’s can book their child into. This will show on your invoice as an additional charge. The fee for early drop off will be £1.23. (A quarter of the standard hourly rate.)

In order to have the correct amount of staff for the children in the building these places will need to be booked and confirmed in advanced. Those who have not booked into the early session please do not drop your child/ren off before 9:00am. Additional charges will apply if you do drop your child/ren off earlier.

Drinking Water and food

Just a reminder that we have a drinking water policy that means whilst children are in our care, we only provide water or milk for them to drink here and therefore we do not allow juice/squash. This is within the early years guidance to promote good oral health for all children. We are also a NUT FREE setting, so please read your packaging before putting it in your child’s lunchbox. Lastly, we have decided that we would like parents to provide a cold packed lunch only, unless you have a thermos flask or pot to keep food hot in, as we are finding it increasingly difficult to re-heat food for large number of children, as we do not have the means to do this in our tiny kitchen. We thank you for your cooperation with this.
