A member of staff is leaving
It is with great sadness and regret we have said goodbye to a member of staff this term. Joey was the pre schools deputy manager who has been a part of the team for many years and has built amazing relationships with both parents, children and staff, it will be very strange without him. He will be missed greatly here at WASPS. We all wish Joey the very best in his new career and venture and we are sure he will pop in to see us from time to time.
A new member of staff
We are fortunate to have a wonderful new staff member join the team. Hannah has joined us and is in the process of getting to know all the children, staff and parents. If you see Hannah during pick up or drop off then please feel free to say hello.
Staff Changes throughout Term 5
With Joey now gone we have had to replace Joeys role. Amie has now taken Joeys place as deputy manager with many years experience so please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or queries.
Early Drop Off Changes
Can I please remind all parents of the early drop off charge
Early Drop Off Time: 8:45am-9:00am
Normal Drop Off Time: 9:00am onwards.
The early drop off will revert to being an additional charge which parent’s can book their child into. This will show on your invoice as an additional charge. The fee for early drop off will be £1.23. (A quarter of the standard hourly rate.)
If you would like to book your child into this session then please email at wasps.preschool@gmail.com or call the setting on 01865859933.
In order to have the correct amount of staff for the children in the building these places will need to be booked and confirmed in advanced. Those who have not booked into the early session please do not drop your child/ren off before 9:00am. Additional charges will apply if you do drop your child/ren off earlier.
Drinking Water and food
I would like to thank parents who have made a huge effort to ensure that their children’s water bottles only have water in. We have also noticed that grapes have been cut in half this has been a real help so thank you all so much.
Whilst we are on the topic, I’m afraid to say that we no longer have the means to heat food up here on the premises so can I ask now that all lunchboxes contain cold foods only, unless you have heated it yourself and kept it in a flask or container for food to remain warm. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
Also I can not stress enough that we are a NUT FREE setting so please be aware of what is being brought into the setting.
New Entrance
This term we invite all parents back into the building meaning that you can use the front entrance now to drop off and collect your child. we very much look forward to having parents back in the room.
